EDITORS COMMENTS
1. Title: "A Historic North American SNJ-2 Texan's Journey: From Navy Strength Charge to Warlords Inc." North American SNJ-2 Texan N66082, captured in this photograph at La Guardia Airport, New York, carries a rich and diverse history. Originally constructed as a SNJ-2 (MSN 65-2026) with Bureau of Aeronautics No. 2037, this Texan began its life in the United States Navy in 1946. Following its service with the Navy, the Texan was sold to Southern Aircraft Sales and Export Co, Miami, Florida, and registered as NC66082. In 1963, it was acquired by Anthony Stinis of Stinis Air Service-Skytypers Inc, based at La Guardia Airport, New York, and Cypress, California. The Texan continued its tenure with Skytypers Inc, now in Los Alamitos, California, from 1 January 1984. In 1992, Mark D. Dilullo of Charlotte Court, Virginia, became the new owner of N66082. In 1995, Warlords Inc of Paterson, New Jersey, took possession of the Texan, registering it as N415NJ. The aircraft remained with Warlords Inc until 29 December 2014, when it was once again based in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. This photograph, believed to have been taken circa 1965, captures a snapshot of this historic North American SNJ-2 Texan's fascinating journey through various ownership and registration changes.
