Junes Ark: June Coward has been running an animal rescue service for 12 years and she says that shes never turned one away. Her terrace home in Kent on the Isle of Sheppey is like an ark, containg 70 assorted strays including poodles, terriers, cats, budgerigars, chickens, a tortoise and a goat apart from the usual rabbits, guinea pigs.... the list goes on and on. June also has 6 children of her own to contend with but she and her husband Jim put up with the extra costs, because they feel that if they weren t providing this sanctuary, innocent animals would die.
