All The Very Best... From Mischief: You may think this is worse than setting the cat
All The Very Best.....From Mischief: You may think this is worse than setting the cat among the pigeons - setting it among the dogs. But its all in a good cause. And if Mischief the Persian cat has an evil glint in her eye, itOs only because shes being used as a dogsbody. Despite her name, shes there to bring out the best in the dogs - to get them used to cats. Then, when the dogs are guiding blind people, they won t go chasing them. Five-year-Old Mischief is an experienced member of the staff at the Princess Alexandra Guide dog Training Centre at Forfar, Scotland. She started work as kitten and has helped train more than 300 guide dogs. Her boss, Bob Forrester, who runs the home, said: " ItOs important that our dogs don t give cats a second look.
Mischief does a good job - the dogs don t turn a hair when shes there.

"All The Very Best. . . From Mischief: You may think this is worse than setting the cat among the pigeons - setting it among the dogs. But it's all in a good cause. And if Mischief, the Persian cat, has an evil glint in her eye, it's only because she's being used as a dogsbody. Despite her name, she's there to bring out the best in the dogs - to get them used to cats. Then, when the dogs are guiding blind people, they won't go chasing them. Five-year-old Mischief is an experienced member of staff at the Princess Alexandra Guide Dog Training Centre at Forfar, Scotland. She started work as a kitten and has helped train more than 300 guide dogs. Her boss, Bob Forrester, who runs the home said: "It's important that our dogs don't give cats a second look". Mischief does a good job -the dogs don't turn a hair when she's there. This heartwarming photo captures an extraordinary bond between two seemingly opposing species – cats and dogs. In this delightful image from February 1973 by Mirrorpix on Memory Lane Prints collection, we witness how Mischief fearlessly takes on her role as mediator between canines and felines at Princess Alexandra Guide Dog Training Centre. With mischievousness shining through her eyes and determination etched on her face, Mischief plays an integral part in preparing these remarkable guide dogs for their noble duty of assisting visually impaired individuals. Through gentle exposure and interaction with cats like herself during training sessions led by dedicated professionals like Bob Forrester at this Scottish center; these loyal companions learn not to be distracted or tempted by their feline counterparts while performing their crucial tasks. Mischief’s invaluable contribution over years of service showcases not only her intelligence but also highlights how friendship knows no bounds – even across different animal species. This heartwarming image is a testament to the power of unity
