Television glamour girl Christine Owen showed her blushes before she agreed to show off these bloomers recently. The sale of the century hostess was asked to slip into a pair of long-legged cotton drawers when she arrived to model Knickers Down The Ages.
They looked demure enough for any straight-laced grannie. But the undies were open fronted and had an open back as well. Luckily the exhibition organizers, an underwear firm from Sutton-in-Coldfield, Nottinghamshire, had sewn up the openings and spared Christine's blushes!.
