EDITORS COMMENTS
In this heartwarming print from the 1970s, we see proud father Terry Wogan embracing his role as a loving husband and doting father. Terry graciously allowed news crews to document his visit to Queen Charlotte's Hospital, where he brought his eldest son Alan, aged two, to meet his mother Helen and their newborn baby boy. Radiating with joy and excitement, Terry is captured in this candid moment as he stands beside the hospital bed where Helen rests with their precious bundle of joy. The image beautifully portrays the tender bond shared between a growing family. When asked about the name of their newest addition, Terry humbly admits that they haven't yet decided on one. It seems that they want to take their time in selecting a name that perfectly fits this little miracle who has just entered their lives. Later on, it was revealed that the family had chosen Mark Wogan as the name for their new arrival. This photograph serves as a timeless reminder of those early days filled with anticipation and love; an intimate glimpse into a special chapter in Terry Wogan's life. Preserved by Memory Lane Prints and originally published by Daily Mirror, this snapshot captures not only a beautiful family but also evokes nostalgia for simpler times when love and connection were at the forefront of our lives.
