REception and year one children from Meltham County Junior, Infant and Nursery School visited Clark Hall at Wakefield, and they dressed for their adventure in 17th century costumes made by parents. The visit included cooking, singing, making soap, polishing, making butter, making pomanders - to ward off evil smells! - and dancing round a maypole. The theme of the day was nursery rhymes and fairy tales. 7th May 1992
