Ten Newsome High School pupils will represent Yorkshire

Ten Newsome High School pupils will represent Yorkshire and Humberside at the national junior games of the British Sports Association for the Disabled at Stoke Mandeville from July 1-3. Another three pupils also won medals at the regional games at Cleckheaton. Ten Newsome High School Pupils Shine at National Junior Games for Disabled

The event, held at Stoke Mandeville from July 1-3 in 1988, showcased their incredible sporting abilities. James Smith impressed everyone with his precision control during electric wheelchair slalom, while Anthony Grayson, Sharifa Patel, Gareth Barber, and Paul Lockwood showed off their talent and accuracy with various club activities such as precision club throwing.
