Two men on a raft... brothers Shaun and Jonathan Heeley are spending an interesting weekend in the middle of a dam to raise cash for Lydgate School, New Mill. They have built a raft and have anchored it in the centre of the dam near the White Horse Inn, Jackson Bridge, where they are both regulars.

Shaun and Jonathan, who live in Cold Hill Lane, New Mill, are spending 48 hours on their adventure, which ends tomorrow night. 12th July 1990
