For 14 years the chaps in this picture have been making people laugh

For 14 years the chaps in this picture have been making people laugh - and raising families. Yesterday they put on their happiest show yet, for the people they made laugh were their own children. The title Happy Families would fill the bill for this little show put on by the actors, actresses and backstage staff who, with Brian Rix, stage those successful farces at Londons Whitehall Theatre. They held a party for some of the forty children born to members of their laughter gang since the shows started in 1950. Brian Rix is pictured with fellow cast members and children. 19th July 1964. © Mirrorpix
