Rumbelows Sprint Challenge 2nd Semi Final, Wembley Stadium, Sunday 12th April 992. The aim of the challenge was to find the fastest player in the League. Each club is invited to send its fastest player to regional heats, with the fastest 2 from each, and the fastest 4 losers qualifying for the final. The players had to run 100m in football boots and normal match kit on grass. The competition was won by John Williams of Swansea City, who collected ten thousand pounds.
