With him was his wife Lizzie Power and 3-year-old son Patrick, who was born prematurely and spent many weeks in the baby unit. The equipment that that the charity has donated is a ventilator - a vital piece of equipment necessary to help newborn babies that cannot breathe on their own and it was handed over to consultant paediatrician Dr. H Barry. 3rd October 1984
