Among the many cadets receiving their commissions today was officer cadet Nicholas Soames, the grandson of the late Sir Winston Churchill. His grandmother Lady Spencer Churchill was among those present to watch the proceedings, she arrived with her daughter Mrs Mary Soames and the Rt. Hon. Mr Christopher Soames.
