Remembering the May Blitz: The Devastating Aftermath of SS Malakand's Tragic End". This haunting print captures the wreckage of SS Malakand, a cargo liner that met its tragic fate during Liverpool's May Blitz in 1941. Loaded with munitions at Huskisson Dock, this vessel became an unfortunate victim of a heavy German air raid on the evening of May 3rd.
