Duke of Cornwalls Light Infantry soldiers on a recruiting march going through the arch at Caerhays Lodge, led by a band. Caerhays Castle is a semi-castellated manor house situated 0.5 mile south of the village of St Michael Caerhays. It is a Grade I listed building designed for the Trevanion family in the early 1800s by the Regency architect, John Nash. It is currently home to the Williams family. Caerhays Castle, a magnificent Grade I listed building designed by renowned architect John Nash for the Trevanion family in the early 1800s, stands proudly in the background. Situated just half a mile south of St Michael Caerhays village, this semi-castellated manor house is currently home to the Williams family and boasts stunning gardens that showcase an impressive collection of magnolias - unrivaled throughout all of Britain.
