DNA BioChip plotter being tested for accuracy

DNA BioChip plotter test. Testing of the plotter used in the manufacture of DNA BioChips. The DNA BioChip allows cheap and rapid simultaneous analyses for infectious organisms to be carried out on samples of food and blood. This plotter usually prints DNA dots onto a glass slide, but here it is printing ink to test its accuracy. On a working BioChip, each dot contains a different sample of DNA designed to bind to specific genes on the DNA of one of the organisms being tested. A laser scan causes dots with a positive reaction to light up, revealing the presence of the corresponding organism. The DNA BioChip is made at BioChip Technologies, in Freiburg, Germany

EDITORS COMMENTS
In this photo print, we witness the precision and innovation behind DNA BioChip technology. The image showcases a DNA BioChip plotter being meticulously tested for accuracy, offering us a glimpse into the fascinating world of genetic research. The DNA BioChip plotter is an essential tool in the manufacture of these revolutionary BioChips. These chips enable cost-effective and rapid simultaneous analyses for infectious organisms to be conducted on samples of food and blood. While typically used to print tiny dots of DNA onto glass slides, here we see it printing ink as part of its testing process. Each dot on a functional BioChip contains a distinct sample of DNA that is specifically designed to bind with particular genes found in the DNA of targeted organisms. When subjected to laser scanning, dots exhibiting positive reactions illuminate, revealing the presence of corresponding organisms. This groundbreaking technology is developed at BioChip Technologies located in Freiburg, Germany - a hub for cutting-edge biochemistry and genetics research. The dedication exhibited by scientists working tirelessly behind closed doors ensures that every aspect of this intricate process is thoroughly examined before implementation. As we delve deeper into the realm of bio-technology and genetic advancements, images like these serve as reminders that progress relies heavily on meticulous testing and unwavering commitment towards scientific excellence.
