MODEL RELEASED. Steam locomotive driver. Museum volunteer stoking (adding coal to the engine fire) steam locomotive K563. The energy from the coal fire is used to boil water to produce steam to drive the trains wheels. Built in 1899 by Maschinenfabrik Esslingen in Germany, this locomotive was used until the late 1940s by the Danish Royal Railroads (DSB). It is maintained by the DSB Museum.
