West Sussex Record Office has recently acquired this unique collection of photographs depicting the County's rural scenery and farm buildings.
The photographs were taken by local author and photographer David Johnston between 1985 and 2000. Some were used to illustrate the book West Sussex Barns and Farm Buildings (The Dovecote Press Ltd, 2002) which David produced with architectural historian Dr Annabelle Hughes.
