In an unprecedented scene, the Emirates Stadium in London, England, played host to an intense battle between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur during the Premier League match on March 14, 2021. Amidst the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, sporting stadiums across the United Kingdom have been subjected to stringent restrictions, with government social distancing laws prohibiting fans from attending games in person. As a result, the Arsenal versus Tottenham Hotspur fixture, like many others, was played out behind closed doors. The usually bustling Emirates Stadium was eerily quiet, with empty seats stretching out in all directions. The only sounds to be heard were the rhythmic chants of the players and the occasional instructions from the referee. Cedric of Arsenal, seen here in action, was one of the few figures on the pitch who was accustomed to the empty stadium atmosphere. The Portuguese full-back, who joined Arsenal in October 2020, has had limited opportunities to experience the electric energy of a packed Emirates Stadium.
