Thomas Sidney Cooper Collection

Thomas Sidney Cooper (1803-1902) was a British painter of rural scenes, best known for his paintings of sheep and cows. He was born in Canterbury, Kent and studied at the Royal Academy Schools in London. His works were exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1824 onwards. He was elected an associate of the Royal Academy in 1845 and a full member in 1861.
