Edward Dayes Collection

Edward Dayes (1763-1804) was an English painter of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. He is best known for his romantic landscapes, which often featured ruins and classical architecture. He was a student of the renowned landscape artist Richard Wilson, who had a great influence on his work.
