"In the heart of the action at the Motor Racing Legends event held at the iconic Silverstone Grand Prix Motor Circuit in Towcester, Northamptonshire, England, October 2022, the forty-five minute two driver race for the Historic Racing Drivers Club (HRDC) 'Gerry Marshall' Trophy Series attracted over thirty cars on the grid. The grid was split into four classes, with one for Drum Braked cars, and three classes based on engine capacity. Adding to the excitement was the Willhire class for Invited Production Touring Cars. Among the sea of racing machines was the Volvo 242T driven by the father-son duo, John Young and James Young. The Volvo, a pre-1980s Touring Car, was a force to be reckoned with in the Group 1 Touring Cars class.
