The Cathedral is a Gothic masterpiece built between 1211 and 1275, and is renowned for its stained glass windows, sculptures, and spires. The Former Abbey of Saint-Rémi was founded in the 6th century by Remigius de Reims and was an important center for learning during the Middle Ages. The Palace of Tau was built in 1690 as a residence for the archbishops of Reims and is now used as a museum to showcase its rich history.
