Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was an Austrian composer and musician of the Classical period. He is among the most influential composers of all time and his works are still widely performed today. Born in Salzburg, Austria, in 1756, he showed prodigious musical talent from a young age. He composed more than 600 works, including symphonies, operas, concertos and chamber music. His most famous works include The Marriage of Figaro (1786), Don Giovanni (1787) and The Magic Flute (1791).
