This stunning chromolithograph illustration showcases the exquisite beauty of various orchid species. The print, carefully restored from an antique artwork in my personal archives, captures the intricate details and vibrant colors of these delicate flowers. The first orchid featured is Aganisia cyanea, also known as Aganisia tricolor. Its petals display a mesmerizing blend of blue hues that create a captivating visual effect. Next is Coryanthes macrantha, with its large and striking blossoms that command attention. Clowes miltonia, or Miltonia clowesii, follows with its elegant white petals adorned with purple markings. The fourth orchid depicted is Epidendrum medusae, named after the mythical Greek creature due to its long and flowing tendrils resembling Medusa's hair. Brymers dendrobium (Dendrobium brymerianum) showcases clusters of bright yellow flowers against a backdrop of lush green foliage.
