The Alcaniz Town Hall building is one of the most beautiful examples, within this typology, of all of Aragon. It was erected on the basis of another pre-existing construction in 1547 and was completed in 1570. It was built attached to the Gothic market, in the Plaza de Espana, where the collegiate church is also located, so that the most significant buildings of the city.
The main facade, in well squared ashlar stone, is organized on three floors separated by powerful cornices. In the highest one, a gallery of semicircular arches opens, characteristic of the Aragonese Renaissance palaces, ending in a flown eaves
