41st Infantry Division was a United States Army formation that served in World War I and in the Pacific Theater during World War II as the "Sunset" Division. Elements of the 41st Division were deployed throughout WWI, and the 41st Infantry “Sunset” Division was the longest deployed division in WWII. The 41st IBCT draws its lineage from the division.
