Dormition of the Virgin. The Apostles have assembled around the Virgin's coffin. Christ in the middle receives the Virgin's soul in the shape of the Infant Christ. Two angels on either side prepare to receive her soul. This manuscript contains passages from the Gospels in liturgical sequence that are used as readings in church services. Tempera on paper.
