Behind, four shepherds, one kneeling, and two looking over a wattle fence, and a fourth approaching. In the background two shepherds with their sheep looking up at the angel. Below, the arrival at Bethlehem. Joseph leads a saddled ass towards the inn, with the Virgin following; in the doorway, a woman stands with hands outstretched. Text beginning with decorated initial D
