Dedicated to Her Most Sacred Majesty, The Queen ; [pp.v-vii] by Aaron Hill, who had translated the text from Italian to English and provided the original scenario, as he explains in the Preface [pp.viii-ix]. On p.x is a letter to the reader [in Italian] from the librettist Giacomo Rossi.

On p.xi-xii is a description of the argument in English.The 1717 revival ran for 10 performances from January 5.
