(Original Caption). The first 57-ton heavy tank built at the Eddystone, Pennsylvania, plant of the Baldwin Locomotive plant, was turned over to the U.S. Army, December 8th. Three hundred and fifty of the country's leading industrialists, officials of the War Department and employees of the plant witnessed tests of the tank and test runs of light and heavy tanks as well. Vice President William Harmon of the Baldwin plant turned the heavy tank over to Captain A.J. Seiler, of the U.S. Army Ordinance in the Philadelphia district, in ceremonies following the tests.
