(Original Caption) 4/7/1947-Tokyo, Japan: William Shakespeare, the bard of Avon, comes to Japan, thanks to the information and education section of GHQ. This is the first attempt to revolutionalize the acting and the form of presentation followed by the Kubuki players, the stage people of Japan. They are seen before a microphone, dressed in there own costumes however, as they dramitize scenes from Macbeth'. This scene being portrayed from the play, is when when Macbeth meets the witch for the first time in the woods and gets the prediction that he will be king.
