This was the day Britain's Princess Margaret celebrated here 25th birthday at Balmoral Scotland, with members of the royal family. It was also the day on which the princess became free to marry without the consent of her sister. But the only people who were not talking about the prospect of a Townsend-princess wedding were the two most concerned and members of the royal household.
