The Indian Frontier Rising: Dargal, viewed from the rocks from which the companies of the Derbyshire were employed in keeping down the enemy's fire, 1898. Neck over which attack was made. Col. Mathias here formed up his regiment and made his speech. Path along which attack was made, entirely exposed for 200 yards. Capt. Smith fell here. Lieut.-Col. Travers party here first got shelter.
