Framed Print of GLC-LFB - Dual purpose pump fire engine
The GLC-LFB was created on 1 April 1965. A series of photos was commissioned of each type of fire engine, either within or absorbed into the enlarged London Fire Brigade. The pump from Enfield fire station (J30) seen here is a Dennis Rolls Royce petrol driven manual appliance. These silver appliances were typical of the Middlesex Fire Brigade, the whole of which was absorbed into the London Fire Brigade in 1965.
