They had been integral to the negotiation of the Treaty of San Jose de Flores, which reunited the state of Buenos Aires back into the Argentine Confederation. The treaty was signed 11th November 1859, but the amendments were not approved by the consitutional convention until 14th September, 1860. Date: 1860.
