A Fordson Unit and trailer pump at the London Fire Brigade headquarters, Lambeth. These were just some of the 2000 adapted vehicles utilised as AFS fire appliances. With their trailer pumps they were widely used by the AFS in London during the blitz. The picture shows the crew in the vehicle and hose stored on the trailer pump.
