Dedication ceremony of the 96th Bomb group memorial chapel at the 12th century St. Andrews Church in Quidenham, Norfolk which took place on 17th November 1944.
The 96th Bomb Squadron is a unit of the United States Air Force, based in England during the Second World War.
During the dedication, a wreath was placed on the altar by Technical Sergeant Jay L Flamm, (left), aged 24 of Redding, California and Staff Sergeant Thomas C. Bracells, aged 41 of Oakland, California.
Sergeant Flamm is a sheet metal worker on a B-17 Flying Fortress and Sergeant Bracells is a ball turret gunner.
