Framed Prints From Memory Lane

Framed Print of The old steam train City of Carlisle'disappeared from service years ago

The old steam train City of Carlisle disappeared from service years ago. But the name lives on. The Mayor of Carlisle, Coun. H. Griffiths, performed a naming ceremony at the Cital Station on 7th December 1978. Although the new diesel train may be known in British Railways books at No.86204, the proud name survives on her front. © Mirrorpix
