Framed Print of A team of demolition experts carry out work to dismantle a section the giant iron rail

A team of demolition experts carry out work to dismantle a section the giant iron rail bridge which used to carry rail traffic on the Leamington to Rugby line over the High Street, Bath Street and Clemens Street junction. The line has been out of use since early 1965 and the Midland Red Bus Company wish to run double-decker buses along the road which links Leamington and Warwick, but are prevented by the low arch of the bridge. A large crowd of sighseers gathered to watch the large crane lower sections of the disused structure, some weighing as much as 75 tons.
