Mandy Hopper, 11, from Ash Avenue, Gilesgate, wrote to The Journals Fix It desk I would like to be an air hostess on an aeroplane, as I have never been in aeroplane before.'
An air traffic controllers assistants dispute meant a few weeks delay before she was able to join Dan Air Airline stewardesses on a BAC 1-11 Newcastle to London flight. Mandy was given her uniform by Dan Air as a memento of her big day.
