Framed Print of Unopposed capture of valuable Burma Oil fields area is a most pointed indication of

Unopposed capture of valuable Burma Oil fields area is a most pointed indication of Japanese collapse. Troops probing down towards the Yenangyaung Road, and troops on the Mount Popa in the Kyaukpedaung area found unenthusiastic Japanese soldiers well dug in around the fields, gave them a tough hour from the air and then sent out patrols who found the area cleared.
The Japanese gave up the famous Burma Oil plant with haste.
Picture shows: Signs of bad temper but no- serious demolitions are indicated in this view of oil fields which had been recently worked.
