It isn t everyday that Teesside airport gets a visit from an RAF Hercules, but one touched down last night to take up these local soldiers and their pals for a training parachute drop. The giant aircraft collected 50 members of D Company, 4th Battalion The Parachute regiment, based at TA centre, Norton, for an 800ft drop on to Downholme moor, near Richmond, as part of a local exercise. 17th June 1987. © Mirrorpix
