But Mr. David Forbes, aged 39, of Gouroch Square, Grimdon, Sunderland is glad to get his feet into water at the end the days work on 12th December 1972.
He took a pedometer on the Newcastle-Middlesbrough run. Newcastle and back twice a day a distance of 189 miles. And he walked a total of 11 miles!
