Framed Print of Yes, it is a live mouse in the heel of a womans shoe in Paris

Yes, it is a live mouse in the heel of a womans shoe in Paris. This picture comes from the shoe exhibition, writes a daily mirror reporter. The mouse, enclosed inside a transparent plastic heel of a womans shoe was a white one. As I looked at it, it began to lick its paws. Its pink eyes peered pathetically at me. And its whiskers bristled. M. Codre, top Paris shoe stylist, is responsible for this idea. He told me: You will be able to buy these shoes in Paris complete with live mouse for about £ 25 a pair. The shoes are called surprise'. They certainly surprised me. March 1953 P009146. © Mirrorpix
