Poster produced by Great Western Railway (GWR) and Southern Railway (SR) to promote rail travel to South Devon. The poster shows a landscape view of the cliffs, beach and sea. Artwork by Frank Newbould (1887-1951), who studied at Bradford College of Art and joined the War Office in 1942. He also designed posters for the Orient Line and Belgian Railways. National Railway Museum is the home of iconic locomotives.
