Framed Print of Crawler Pipeline Camera C017 / 6677
Remote-controlled video camera assembly designed for sewer or environmental inspection of small-diameter (about 150mm minimum) pipes and similar. It consists of a colour video camera with a wide-angle lens in a waterproof housing and mounted on a motorised carriage. It is connected to the surface by an electronic control cable. The illumination system in this model is a ring-light around the periphery of the lens. Crawler cameras of different sizes and facilities are available for different environments. Modular systems allow the addition of auxiliary off-axis lighting units, pan-and-tilt lenses, and the ability for the wheeled carriage to be steered and cope with obstacles.
