They were joined by other formidable teams such as John Barker Nick Cutmore Windle Yamaha, Dave Hallam & Barry Dunn from Windle Yamaha, Brian Wilson & Alan Jervis representing Yamaha, and John Brandon & Clive Price riding Honda. Before the race began, all eyes were on the scrutineering process as each team ensured their machines were in top-notch condition for this prestigious event. The anticipation was palpable as Jed Tennant & Maria Clarke showcased their Suzuki Interceptor while Dennis Bingham & Julia Bingham proudly presented their Padgett Yamaha. Lionel Fantom & Amanda Fantom roared onto the scene with their powerful Yamaha machine, ready to conquer any challenge that came their way. Meanwhile, Dave Molyneux & Paul Craine teamed up on a Bregazzi Yamaha to prove themselves against fierce competition. Michael Masheter & Michael Bridson added excitement to the mix with their sleek Suzuki sidecar. And not to be outdone, Barry Brindley Chris Jones represented Windle Yamaha with an unwavering determination to leave a mark at this iconic event. Each twist and turn tested both man and machine alike – pushing them beyond limits they never thought possible. The crowd held its breath as these courageous duos raced against time - battling through hairpin bends and soaring down straightaways at breakneck speeds. It was a spectacle like no other; adrenaline pumping through veins as spectators cheered on every daring maneuver. In the end, it was more than just a race.
