Alan Jackson, a name synonymous with speed and success in the world of motorcycle racing. From his early days on the track to his numerous victories, Jackson has left an indelible mark on the sport. In 1977, riding for Honda, Alan Jackson showcased his exceptional skills by clinching victory at the Formula Two TT. This win was just a taste of what was to come for this talented racer. The following year saw Jackson back on his Honda machine, pushing himself even further during practice sessions for the Formula Two TT. Determined to improve upon his previous performance, he honed his skills and prepared for another shot at glory. But it wasn't just in Formula Two that Alan excelled. In 1979, he switched gears and took part in the Junior TT aboard a Yamaha bike. His fearless riding style earned him respect from both fans and fellow racers alike. Throughout his career, Jackson continued to push boundaries and achieve remarkable feats. In 1981, he joined forces with Tony Rutter as they rode Yamaha and Yoshimura Suzuki bikes respectively in the Classic TT event. Together, they proved to be an unstoppable force on the track. Not one to rest on past achievements alone, Alan also conquered other prestigious races such as the Lightweight Manx Grand Prix in 1981 aboard a Yamaha machine. His versatility as a rider shone through as he effortlessly adapted to different motorcycles across various competitions. However, it was not only modern races where Alan's talent flourished; he also made waves in historic events like the Senior Manx Grand Prix. Riding Suzuki bikes in both 1973 and 1974 editions of this iconic race demonstrated that age is no barrier when it comes to true skill behind handlebars. As time went on, Alan's hunger for victory remained insatiable.
