The American Goldfinch, also known as Carduelis tristis, is a stunning bird that can be found in various locations across the United States. One such sighting took place in Marion County, where a male American Goldfinch was perched on a Dogwood Tree. The vibrant yellow plumage of the bird contrasted beautifully with the delicate pink flowers of the tree.
