Asilidae, commonly known as robber flies, are a fascinating group of insects that belong to the family Asilidae. Lastly but certainly not least important is our encounter with yet another Hanging Thief Robber Fly from Philadelphia; highlighting just how widespread these formidable predators can be found around the world. To conclude our journey through various species within Asilidae or robber flies family would be incomplete without mentioning Neoitamus cyanurus, commonly known as the Common Awl Robberfly.
